DanielaPhotography remembers the Vivid Sydney Festival of light and colors from previous years to keep the flame and people's interest alive, even if this year, due to the pandemic, the festival will be postponed. Looking at some images of the past, will help some people lift their spirits and remember that there will be good times to come in the next years. Tokyo, Japan -Twice the Olympic City
As the 2020 Olympics are happening now in 2021 in Tokyo, DanielaPhotography remembers the family trip to Japan from 2018. In this first article she looks at the advantages of such large scale public transport projects like Shinkansen, the bullet train, in Japan and asks the question why all the fast train projects proposed in the past failed to materialize in Australia.

Vivid Sydney 2016
Vivid Sydney Festival happens every year in May/ June and it transforms Sydney, Australia with their innovative light installations and grand scale projections. Daniela's slideshow contains images from Vivid 2016.

Old Jacaranda Tree at Sydney Uni is no longer there…
The Jacaranda tree at Sydney University Quadrangle was the most famous tree in the city, maybe because the 85 years old tree with purple flowers used to make such a nice backdrop for the graduation photos. Unfortunately, the tree was uprooted in November 2016 and it is no longer there. The students are sad because they loved that tree, it was part of the tradition.
