Scenic Alpine Roads in New Zealand-Part 1
The first article in Daniela Constantinescu's blog regarding the scenic alpine roads she travelled during her trip to New Zealand in 2017. She recommends setting up base in Queenstown and travel from there to best picturesque destinations like Wanaka on the Crown Range road. From Wanaka take State Highway 8 through Lindis Pass, a desert mountain pass. Another destination from Queenstown is on Glenorchy road, one of the most beautiful alpine roads in New Zealand winding on the side of Lake Wakatipu.
